From Chaos to System: Architecting a Global Design Workflow
KODAK's global content generation was paralyzed by an unsustainable legacy workflow. Shifting the focus from static files to a living, component-driven design system in Figma was not just an upgrade, but the only way to architect a truly scalable global workflow.
80GB Legacy Files: The team struggled with an overwhelming 80GB of fragmented Photoshop files.
Broken Consistency: Typography, colors, and layouts varied wildly across different regional assets.
Manual Localization: Translating content for 8 different languages required tedious, file-by-file manual editing.

By establishing modular Figma components, I transformed a fragmented 80GB manual workflow into a scalable design system. This structural overhaul eliminated visual inconsistencies and enabled a seamless, one-click localization process across 8 different languages.

Thanks to the auto-layout system, translating content into 8 different languages no longer requires manual resizing. The components automatically adapt to varying text lengths, drastically reducing production time and ensuring global brand consistency.

Beyond PDF: The AI Design Assistant
To ensure the new guidelines didn't end up as just another forgotten document, I developed a custom internal GPT trained entirely on the KODAK design system.
